After introducing a few new presets to Digital Film Actions this week (and since I haven't done this in a while) here is the release of a brand new competition for you to win some amazing prizes!

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who submitted their entires. I had such a great time going through everyone's photos - you guys are such a talented bunch! I have found many new photographers to follow and I think the digital film blog is a great source of inspiration too <3 So many different styles of photos from all around the world all in one place, doesn't get much better than that!
Once again, congratulations to the winners! I can't wait to host another competition soon with some more prizes. If you have any suggestions for what you'd like to see happen (either competition or prize ideas) please leave a suggestion in my ask box! I would love to hear any and all your suggestions so we can do something a little different next time!

The aim of this competition is to share your images edited with presets from Digital Film Actions. All the images will be submitted to the Digital Film Actions blog, so you can pour over other photographer's work and see what everyone else is creating.
Without further ado, here are all the competition details you need to know:

how to enter:
- submit your photos edited with digital film colours to this blog: www.digitalfilmactions.tumblr.com
- use can use any colours available on the website. this includes lightroom presets, camera raw presets, photoshop actions and even the free photoshop curves
- every entry must include your full name and the name of the action, curve or preset of mine that you used to edit that photo
- like the digital film actions facebook photography page (so i can match your entry name + notify the winners)
extra entries:
- you can also submit your photos via instagram!
- all you need to do is upload your photo to your instagram feed, and in the caption include the name of the preset you used to edit the photo with + @digitalfilmactions #digitalfilmactions
- your profile must be off private for your entry to include
- the image you upload must be kept on your feed until the date the winners are announced (wednesday 1st of october, 2014)
details:
- the competition will run for 9 days, starting today! (saturday, 20th of september, 2014)
- submissions close on monday, 29th of september 2014. no submissions count after midnight (EST - sydney, australia time) on this date
- winners will be announced on wednesday, 1st of october 2014.
- if you don't like the digital film actions facebook page, i will have no way to tag you/be able to notify you that you've won
- if you don't include your name in your entry, i won't be able to match your name up through the likes on my photography page and notify you if you win
- submissions that don't include the name of the curve, action or preset used to edit them will be disqualified
- 3 winners will be chosen at random and will be announced on the digital film actions facebook page + an edited version of this blog post
- you can enter as many times are you like!
how to submit your photos to the blog:
- go to www.digitalfilmactions.tumblr.com
- click on the 'submit' link on the top menu
- choose your competition entry
- add your name + the name of the colour preset used to edit the photo
- accept the terms of submission
- press submit!
your entry will be published once it has been reviewed and will be approved if it follows all the rules!
