On iOS, you can download the Digital Film App from the Apple Store. You can unlock all the filters through in-app purchases or by purchasing an in-app subscription. If you have already purchased Digital Film App filters in the past, simply log in to your Apple ID via the settings page on your iPhone and restart the app.

On any Android device, you can download the Digital Film app from the Play Store. You can unlock all the filters through in-app purchases or by purchasing an in-app subscription. If you have already purchased Digital Film App filters in the past, make sure you are signed in to your Play Store account and restart the app.
What’s the difference between purchasing filter packs or becoming a member?
You can either purchase packs of filters individually via in-app purchases or you can become a member unlocking ALL the purchasable presets. When you are a member, any new preset packs that become available to purchase in future updates will instantly be usable for free.
Can I use my Digital Film Actions Lightroom Presets and Photoshop Actions?
No. Digital Film App is an entirely different way to be able to edit your photos. Our Lightroom Presets and Photoshop Actions are created for professionals editing on a Desktop using Adobe Lightroom, Camera Raw or Photoshop. Digital Film App is created for beginners, hobbyists and professionals alike, but is designed to work on mobile photography with a whole new set of colours and ways to edit your images.

Pro Tips
Digital Film App is designed to be an intuitive and simple to use app to quickly be able to edit and transform your photos, so most things are pretty easy to follow! There are a few fun hidden ways that you can edit your photos:
Double tap an image on the homepage to quickly head to edit mode
Double tap an image in edit mode to zoom in to 100%
You can edit a photo while it is zoomed in!
In edit mode, hold down on your edited image to see the original unedited image.
In the gallery page, you can press and hold down on a thumbnail to see the full version of the image.
Your Digital Film App Account and becoming a Digital Film App Member
Your Digital Film App is connected to your Apple ID for iOS and your Play Store account on Android. Make sure you are signed in to your correct Apple ID or Play Store account before you make any purchases.
How to cancel your Digital Film subscription for iOS
You can go to your account via your phone’s App Store settings to manage your subscription. More info available here from Apple.
How to cancel your Digital Film subscription for Android
Open the Play Store and make sure you are signed into the correct account. Tap menu > Subscriptions. Select the subscription you want to cancel and tap cancel subscription. More info available here from Google.
Why are my purchases not showing up?
It’s possible that your internet is not connected, or that you are signed in to a different Apple ID or Play Store account than the one that was used to purchase. Please check your internet connection and signed in Apple ID or Play Store account, and restart the app to try again.
How can I get a refund for a purchase?
For iOS App Store or Mac App Store purchases, visit and contact Apple Support. For Android users please see here for more information.
How do I restore purchases made in the past?
Open the Digital Film app, select Help? in the top left hand corner and tap Restore Purchases.
Can I buy Digital Film App presets and use them on other devices?
Yes. All your Digital Film App purchases and subscription are connected to your Apple ID or Play Store account. If you buy a new phone or need to use a different phone, just sign in to your Apple ID or Play Store account in your mobile settings, restart the app and your purchases will be available. If you still can’t see your purchases, refer to the above question on how you can restore past purchases within the Digital Film App.

Just like our free presets, we are always working hard to create new packs to keep Digital Film App fun to use and take your photography to the next level. If you are a Pro Member, we release a new pack of presets every 2 months, which are added for free to your account.
What is the difference between free and purchasable filters?
Our free filters are our way of saying thank you for supporting Digital Film and to give you the ability to test out the app and see what it’s capable of. For example, we offer the Aspen preset for free, but if you really love it and always find yourself coming back to edit with Aspen, then you might want to consider taking a look at the Aspen pack! The pack is an extensive version of the free preset with 5 different filters with a cohesive style, but each preset will affect different images in a different way giving you more variety and ease to your editing.
Syncing filters across devices
If you use Digital Film App across multiple devices and have purchased filters or have become a member, simply log in to your Apple ID of Play Store account in your settings to be able to use your purchased filters on a different device.
Does Digital Film App support RAW photo editing
Yes. You can import RAW image format into Digital Film to edit.

How to save images from Digital Film App
There are 2 methods to be able to save your photos from the Digital Film App. In editing mode, once you’ve finished making all your adjustments, simply hit the Export button and your image will be saved to your camera roll.
In the gallery page, select all the images you want to save and press export. They will al be saved to your camera roll.
How are images saved from the app
All images are exported in the highest resolution.
My photo isn’t looking good

Is it possible to zoom?
Yes, you can zoom into your image even while you’re editing! Simply double tap your photo when you’re in the editing mode to quickly zoom into 100% or pinch and zoom your photo.
I’m experiencing a bug
If you are experiencing a regular bug when using the app, please email us on digitalfilmactions@gmail.com with your Apple ID or Play Store account email and describe the problem. If you have screenshots or a screen recording, please attach them to the email so we can help you as much as possible.
My app is lagging
If you find that your app is lagging, double check how much storage is available on your phone. You can also try deleting old photos from the gallery by selecting all the photos you want to remove and pressing Delete.
If you delete photos from the app, they will not be deleted from your phone.
I have a technical problem or an issue I need solved
